These recessed low voltage cable plates are designed to install low voltage cables behind a flat pane tv, amplifier or other audio/video devices and includes a recessed single 3 prong power outlet to supply power. This plate is intended to be used with a 1 or 2 gang low voltage mounting box or plate and can be installed upright or upside down. Power outlet is CL/UL rated. Determine the location of your flat panel TV, amplifier or audio/video device. Cut a hole in the wall and install the low voltage mounting box or plate. Then simply pull your cables through the the low voltage box and then through the recessed low voltage cable plate. Simply attach the mounting plate to the low voltage box and secure with included screws.
